Warranty Policy

What is covered?

Any defect in material and workmanship resulting from personal, normal use in accordance with the owner's manual.

For how long?

Tenways guarantees each new bicycle frame against defects in workmanship and materials for Five (5) years from the date of delivery. All original non wear and tear components are guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery.

Who gets the warranty?

This warranty applies to the original owner and is transferable for the remaining period in the event of a new owner having purchased the bike.

Limitations & Liability:

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly or follow-up maintenance, consumable parts such as tires, or unauthorized installation of parts or accessories. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect. Any unauthorized modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. The warranty shall not apply in case of a copy, modification, reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembly of or otherwise tampering with the Product, its components and/or the Services. TENWAYS is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the Consumer.

The Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage. Wear and tear components are not covered by the 2 years of warranty, we will still offer support if needed on these components with some reasonable fee charge.

Client represents, warrants, and agrees that he or she (i) is a safe and competent bicycle operator, (ii) is sufficiently fit and physically capable to safely ride a Bicycle without any risk to his or her health, (iii) is knowledgeable about the operation of a Bicycle, and (iv) is knowledgeable about the laws pertaining to bicycles operated within the city in which he or she rides the Bicycle.

LIKE ANY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, RIDING A BICYCLE MAY CAUSE MINOR OR MAJOR INJURIES OR DISCOMFORT AND MAY WORSEN OR COMPLICATE UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR DISEASES. BY CHOOSING TO RIDE A VANMOOF BICYCLE, CLIENT ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITIES AND RISKS FOR ALL SUCH INJURIES OR OTHER MEDICAL CONDITIONS.

CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT OPERATING THE BICYCLE HAS INHERENT RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TRAFFIC CONDITIONS, WEATHER CONDITIONS, ROAD AND SIDEWALK CONDITIONS, NATURAL AND UNNATURAL OBJECTS AND OBSTACLES, IMPACT OR COLLISION, AND NEGLIGENCE OF OTHERS. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT VANMOOF LIMITS ITS LIABILITY AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION. CLIENT SHALL INDEMNIFY TENWAYS AGAINST, AND SHALL HOLD TENWAYS HARMLESS FROM ALL COSTS, EXPENSES, AND LIABILITIES (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY CLAIMS BY CLIENT OR ANY THIRD PARTY ARISING OUT OF CLIENT’S USE OF THE BICYCLE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, THE CLIENT ASSUMES ALL RISK AND LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL LOSS, DAMAGE, OR INJURY INCLUDING DEATH TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY OF THE CLIENT OR OTHERS ARISING OUT OF THE BICYCLE POSSESSION, USE, OPERATION, OR CARE AND CONTROL OF THE BICYCLE BY THE CLIENT INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ALL MEDICAL COSTS AND FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES.
