1-year Warranty Extension

1. Before March 31st 2025, only customers who have received the special extended warranty email will be able to order the 1 year extended warranty, regardless of whether their warranty has expired or not. The one-year warranty extension period starts from the date of order.
2. After 31 March 2025, customers will only be able to purchase warranty extension before their warranty expires. The one-year warranty extension period starts from the expiration date of the original warranty. The warranty period of a specific component is in accordance with the Detailed List of Component Warranty Period. For example, the original warranty period of a sensor is 2 years. The total warranty period will become 3 years after purchasing the 1-year warranty extension.
3. The 1-year extended warranty can be transferred with the covered e-bike.
4. The 1-year extended warranty can only be purchased once for each e-bike.
5. The 1-year extended warranty only covers the cost of replacement parts, and the associated cost of replacement. It does not cover any other costs, including transport or regular maintenance.
6. Only customers who have purchased from the official TENWAYS online store (www.tenways.com) are eligible to purchase this 1 year warranty extension. If you purchased your TENWAYS e-bike from your local dealer, please contact them for more information.
7. Warranty claims must be made directly to the TENWAYS support team. Warranty services must be carried out or authorised by the TENWAYS support team.
8. Normal loss of battery capacity is not eligible for warranty claims. The following conditions are considered normal battery capacity loss: 60% remaining capacity after 500 charge-discharge cycles or 2 years of use; 50% remaining capacity after 750 charge-discharge cycles or 3 years of use.

The warranty does not cover: any consumables, any non-original or unauthorized components and parts, normal wear and tear of any covered components, any damage or defects to covered components resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, force majeure, accident, theft, vandalism, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, incorrect assembly or installation of the product or part thereof by the user/consumer, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper/unauthorized maintenance and services. As for battery, in addition to above, the warranty doesn’t cover damages from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage，improper storage ( under -20° or above +45°). Wear and tear components are not covered by the 2 years of warranty, but we will still offer support if needed on these components with some reasonable fee charge.
